All businesses, individuals, and community organizations are invited to enter a float, vehicle, walking unit, performances and more in the Parade! 

The parade is free to all applicants. Each year, a theme is chosen, and each participant is encouraged to display the theme. This year’s theme is Summerfest- Live in 2025!

Floats will be judged based on five factors:

  • Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

    Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

    • Line-up begins at 11:00am at Windham Town Hall and on the Windham school campus. Specific instructions will be sent by email a week before the event.

    • All parade participants who do not have vehicles in the parade must park at the Town Hall and walk to the parade start location.

    • Absolutely NOTHING can be thrown from moving parade vehicles. Candy and other items may be handed to parade watchers by walkers only within your group. Please adhere to this. We don’t want kids running into the road chasing candy.

    • Each entrant shall be responsible for the supervision of their unit before, during and after the parade. Safety for all float riders is the responsibility of each float sponsor or organizer.

    • If children are participating, each entrant must provide adult supervision to accompany them throughout the parade.

    • Domestic animals, such as horses, dogs, etc., on leashes, must provide a clean-up crew to walk behind their animals.

    • An informational email will be sent to all participants before the event.

  • Summerfest was designed to bring community together and to give non-profit groups and organizations a chance to promote their mission or cause and also an opportunity to raise funds. 

    In order to offer the widest variety of food choices to the public and give each group the best chance possible to do some fund-raising, we limit each food offering to only one entity and the food items must be approved by the Summerfest Committee so there are no duplications in food.

  • Community Organization Booths are for non-profit organizations who wish to promote their organization to the community during Windham Summerfest.

    These booths are designed specifically for those who fit into the following criteria: Designed for non-profit groups, organizations or affiliations who offer services, information, or education for the benefit of our community.

    These booths are not intended to be used for fundraising, but rather to raise awareness of their purpose or recruitment of volunteers or members. This display may include information, demonstration or activity, pamphlets or other tangibles for the purpose of spreading information only. {Any offers are at no charge, there are NO sales at these booths} Examples: Windham Food Pantry, DARE Adventure Club, Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals, etc.  

    Activity Suggestions: Dunk Tank, Pie in the Face, Tug of War, Cookie Decoration, Frisbee Toss, Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, Football Throw, Hula Hooping.

    Windham Resident: Free       

    Non-Resident: $35

  • We are happy to invite you to take part in the craft fair area of the Windham Summerfest this year. Please understand that we have a limited number of booths and we do not allow more than one direct sales vendor/company so we do ask that you get your application in as soon as possible to be reviewed. Summerfest is rain or shine so we encourage you to be prepared with a small canopy or EZ-up tent.   

    Cost per booth: $25 plus donation of a raffle item valued at $25+ 
    Cost per booth after 5/18/25: $40.00 plus donation of a raffle item valued at $25+ 

    Online registration is unavailable for the Summerfest Craft & Vendor Fair; please download and submit a hard copy of the application to be approved by the Summerfest Committee.

  • Members of the local business community are invited to be a part of Windham Summerfest’s Business Expo!

    Take this opportunity to promote and market your company’s latest products, services and expertise through your exhibit. Demonstrations and/or activities are encouraged! NO SALES ARE PERMITTED!

  • Additional Booth Information

    • Each booth space is 10x10. Multiple booth spaces may be rented for an additional fee.

    • Prizes will be awarded to one booth per category (Crafter/Vendor, Food, Community and Business Expo) for best decoration based on the theme.

    • Pets are not allowed on school grounds unless used as a service animal.

    • The day of the event businesses should have their booth area open from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at a minimum.

    • Windham Summerfest will determine placement of space, and spaces will be allotted on a first come basis.

    • Cars must be unpacked and moved from the booth area by 11 a.m. Saturday. Cars cannot return to booth area to pack until after fireworks have concluded.

    • Prior to the event, you will receive an informational email with your table number, site map, parking instructions and other information.

    • Registrations after June 5 may be accepted if space allows.

    • Late registrations may not be include in promotional materials
