We want to include you in the Windham Summerfest celebration. Please consider one or more of following ways to contribute to our fundraising campaign:

  • Booths: Booths are constructed of any material you would like. Portable concession trailers are also allowed. If you plan on using portable tarps or tarps of any kind, there will be no cooking under them. HOWEVER, we highly recommend you consider the visual appeal to your setup, as that is a BIG component of what draws people to one booth over another, bright, friendly, clean, inviting, creative, use your imagination! The Summerfest Committee encourages all booth vendors to decorate and make their booth a festive area. The more creative the booth the better!
  • Booth Sizes: Normal Booth Size is considered 10' x10'. If you need to have more than a 10' x 10' space, it will require for you to register and pay for more spaces.
  • Food: There will be no food duplications- if you choose a food item to serve for this day that has not already been reserved, we promise that you will be the only group serving that food item at the festival. We will try to keep the list of taken foods posted so you will know if your second choice may need to be used. Your selection is not yours until you have written confirmation from Summerfest.
  • Booth Set Up: Booth set up will be on Friday, after 4:00pm on the High School grounds. Booths must be ready to open for business at 11:00am on Saturday. All booths, equipment and materials must be off High School grounds by noon time on Sunday.
  • Booth Space: Booth space must be staffed throughout the day until closing time or if food items are gone. The Summerfest Committee will assign your booth a space which will be approximately a 10' x 10' area. All vendors are to bring their own tables, tents, equipment etc. and must stay within the perimeters of assigned space. Any extension cords used must be grounded.
  • Parking: All booths and vendors and their staff are required to park all vehicles and trailers in the vendor designated parking area. There will be no overnight parking on High School grounds. Vendor parking passes will be sent out in June with a map of the designated parking area.
  • Security: The Windham Summerfest Committee, the Town of Windham and Windham School District are not responsible for items lost, stolen or missing. Summerfest will provide overnight security of High School grounds from Friday 6:00pm, to Saturday 9:00am.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed on High School grounds unless used for handicapped assistance.
  • Are you a business looking for an opportunity to support a great community event but not sell food or other items, check out the Business Expo Application .
  • If you are part of a civil service group or non-profit organization just looking to get the word out, take a moment to check out the Community Booths Application .

    Community Center Booths

What is a Community Center Booth? This section, while placed strategically on the grounds with the food/game booths and Business Expo booths, is designed specifically for those who fit into the following criteria.

Examples: Windham Food Pantry, DARE Adventure Club, Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals, etc...

    Designed for non-profit groups, organizations or affiliations who offer services, information, education, for the benefit of our community. These booths are not for trying to raise money, just awareness, volunteers or members. This display may include information, slideshows, pamphlets or other tangibles for the purpose of spreading information only. {Any offers are at no charge, there are NO sales at these booths}

    Vendor Booths

Summerfest was designed to bring community together. To give non-profit groups and organizations a chance to promote their mission or cause and also an opportunity to raise funds as well, by selling food, crafts or offering a game of chance. We didn't leave out those who just have a passion or desire to give back, for-profit businesses also participate by registering with a charity of their choice and donating the proceeds from their labor of love to that organization. In order to offer the widest variety of food choices to the public and give each group the best chance possible to do some fund-raising, we limit each food offering to only one person, so there are no duplications in food. Please consider joining us at Windham Summerfest and show your pride and support for your organization and make some new friends along the way!

You also need to download and complete the Victauler's Permit.

    Business Expo

The Business Expo has been supported for the past five years by the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, Windham Economic Development and the business community. Business owners take this opportunity to promote and market your company's products and services through their exhibits.

By design, The Business Expo is centrally located within the fair grounds. This allows you to capture peoples' attention as they walk around. Participating offers a very unique opportunity. Summerfest attracts people of all ages and it is not uncommon for attendees to stay at Summerfest for the whole day. The entertainment provided is varied and spaced out appropriately. This gives you a huge opportunity to introduce yourself, or business to the public. There is not another opportunity like it. You will reach thousands of people from the local community!

The Expo will open from 11:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday, June 20th. You can start setting up on Friday afternoon at 4:00PM, but the exhibit needs to be ready at 11:00AM for the start of the Expo. Space size is approximately 10' x 10' in a designated area. Additional space can be purchased. We strongly encourage a canopy and electricity is available on a limited basis, which will be accommodated where possible.

To optimize your exposure to the public we recommend that you create a well organized and creative exhibit. Try to come up with a way to grab peoples' attention as they pass through Summerfest. Balloons, give-away items, coupons or a clever contest work successfully.

We are available to assist you and welcome your input.

All proceeds from The Business Expo are used to support Summerfest. Please consider supporting Summerfest by participating in The 2016 Business Expo!.

If you would like to participate in this year's event please fill out an application by June 5th

You also need to download and complete the Victauler's Permit.

Thank you to our 2016 Windham Summerfest sponsors. We would not be able to do this without you.
