An Update from Windham, ME Summerfest Committee 4/15/2020

On April 14, 2020, the Summerfest Committee made the difficult decision that our June 20th Summerfest Event will be a virtual event due to the pandemic and current conditions.  We are committed to having fireworks and a celebration at a future date, once it is safe to do so.

The 2020 Windham Virtual Summerfest celebration will be “aired” on our Facebook Summerfest page

Virtual activities will include:

  • Hometown Hero award sponsored by Modern Woodmen.
  • Virtual Weekly Photo Contest
  • Videos/photos of past Windham Summerfest/Old Home Days

Summerfest will continue; we will have a different look, but our mission of bringing Unity to the Community is stronger than ever.  We invite your suggestions and are asking for you to share with us your photos and videos from past Summerfests and Old Home Days.

Every community has its unsung heroes, which is why Modern Woodmen of America presents a Hometown Hero Award to someone in a community that dedicates himself or herself to serving others.
